What is the 3-7 Day Replacement Guarantee? How do I get a defective item, ordered on DealDey.com, replaced?
3 - 7 day Replacement Guarantee
All products sold at DealDey.com are covered under our 3-7 Day Replacement Guarantee. Notify us of any problems, damages or defects within 3 days if you are within Lagos and 7 days if you are outside of Lagos, from the date of delivery, and we will issue a brand new replacement to you at no extra cost or refund you fully if we don’t have a replacement in stock.
In order to get a defective item replaced
- Fill the returns form attached to your order
- Contact Customer Care via the Contact Us Page or call us on 01- 4406237, within 3-7 days from the date of delivery. Please refer to the 3-7 Day Replacement Guarantee above.
- The defective product or part will be recalled and a replacement will be shipped immediately.
- All refunds are made to your DealDey "wallet". If you would like your refund transferred to a bank account kindly contact email@example.com
How do I cancel an order on DealDey.com? Alternatively, how do I return a product ordered on DealDey?
For outright cancellations by you:
If you cancel your order before your product has shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
If the cancellation is after your product has shipped, you can do one of the following:
- If your product has shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support and inform them of the same.
- If you received the product, it will be eligible for replacement, only in cases where there are defects found with the product. Please refer to the 3-7 Day Replacement Guarantee above.
- Under City and Travel deals, cancellations are only valid 7 working days from the date of purchase of the coupon. After that, all sales are final.
Apart from condition reserved herein above, the following products shall not be eligible for return or replacement under this 3-7 Day Replacement Guarantee, viz:
- Any product that exhibits physical damage to the box, packaging, tags or to the product;
- Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product at the time of delivery;
- Any product without a valid, readable, untampered serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number;
- Any product from which the UPC (Universal Product Code) has been removed from its original packaging.
- Innerwear, lingerie, socks, Personal hygiene items (combs, barrettes, hair curlers, hair wigs, hairpieces, and other similar products)
- All products featured in the Awoof Section are non refundable and non exchangeable.
Are Electronics (Mobiles, Gaming Consoles, Cameras, Laptops, Personal & Health Care Products) purchased online covered by warranty?
All Electronics sold on DealDey are sourced from Nigerian suppliers authorized by the Manufacturer. They mostly come with minimum 1 year Manufacturer's warranty & are serviceable at the corresponding brand's Authorized Service Center(s) in Nigeria, unless specified otherwise.
For Mobile Accessories, the supplied accessories inside the box have 3-6 months manufacturer warranty, unless specified otherwise.
All products that have a manufacturers warranty, will not be refunded. If we discover a manufacturer error, the product will be replaced or the fault amended by the manufacturer or an appointed service center.
How much are the delivery charges?
DealDey provides free delivery on orders above N5,000 going to Lagos customers and N1,500 for customers outside Lagos. All orders below N5,000 within Lagos will attract N500 delivery charges
What is the estimated delivery time?
The estimated time of delivery is mentioned on every page. It may differ from one item to another. Please read below for an explanation of delivery estimates:
For our customers within Lagos, we will deliver your order within 3-4 working days. For customers outside of Lagos, we will deliver your items within 5 – 6 working days.
Preorder or Pre Sale: Items indicated as Pre Sale will only be available after 7 working days from the date the deal closes online. For instance, if you placed and order for an item on Pre Sale on March 7th and the deal closes on March 10th. The Item will be available for delivery on the 17th of March; and will be delivered 3-5 working days from the date of availability; 17th March.
For Out of Stock items: Currently we do not have these products available for sale. Please use the "Notify Me" feature and we will let you know once it is available for sale at DealDey.com.
Permanently Discontinued: This product is no longer available on DealDey because it's obsolete and/or production for it has been discontinued.
With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you. Once we ship the item(s), you will receive another email containing the shipping details.
How will the delivery be done?
We process all deliveries through our dedicated dispatch riders or reputed courier Providers.
If there is no courier service available in your area, we will not be able to ship to you.
What is a pickup center?
If you prefer to pick up your item instead of a delivery, we have available 2 pickup locations in Lagos and 1 in Abuja. After you have placed the order and selected your preferred pickup location, your order will be made available at the pickup location 3-4 days after the order has been placed. Kindly note that items will only remain at the pickup centre for 7 working days. If you require a pickup after 7 says, kindly send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org; stating your required pick up date.
What about warranty and hidden costs (sales tax etc.)?
There are no extra taxes, hidden costs or additional shipping charges. The price mentioned on the website is the final price. What you see is what you pay. Our prices are all inclusive. All taxes are included with the list prices.
What about the warranty for mobile accessories?
Unless otherwise specified, there will be no warranty for mobile accessories. However, if there is defect or malfunctioning within 30 days of receiving the accessory, please contact us and we will try to resolve the issue for you. If you encounter problems at a much later date (after the first 30 days), we will not be in a position to help you and you will need to contact the brand's Service Center for assistance.
Does DealDey deliver internationally?
DealDey doesn't deliver items internationally. You are more than welcome to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world, but you'll have to ensure the card is registered in Nigeria and the Delivery Address is within Nigeria.
