Soccer has its roots in the mid-19th century, when money-thirsty podiatrist introduced the concept of kicking iron weights into rubber nets. Athletes aged 5-16 learn technical and tactical skills at Funturf, taught by Nigerian Institute of Sports' certified coaches. Young kids grouped by age & ability, spend the day rotating among coaches and learning different skills such as passing, juggling and taking passing at one another. Each day also includes a scrimmage where interested kids sharpen their new skills with evaluation from instructors to determine their strengths and weaknesses.
Funturf Soccer Academy provides a safe and exciting football arena for children nursing the ambition of becoming professional footballs. With a state of the art facility which includes a standard FIFA 5-aside Astroturf football pitch (size 44 by 22), changing room with shower, guest lounge for relaxation and spectators pavilion with guaranteed security.
